Game description: Be a lead guitarist who plays for thousands of people in the unique rhythm game Guitar Hero. The game comes with a guitar-shaped controller modeled after the Gibson Flying SG. With this controller you can simulate playing the guitar parts for more than 30 popular songs by such artists as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, Audioslave, White Zombie, Franz Ferdinand, and the Ramones. Guitar Hero features six venues, eight unique characters, many guitars, and a range of difficulty levels. Finally, challenge your friends to see who rocks harder in two-player mode.
Guitar Hero is a music rhythm game featuring a guitar-shaped controller (resembling a miniature Gibson SG) that the player uses to simulate playing rock music. The gameplay is similar to GuitarFreaks, in that the player presses buttons on the guitar controller in time with musical notes that scroll on the game screen. The game features covers of 30 popular rock songs spanning five decades of rock, from the 1960s up through 2005, in addition to bonus tracks. Guitar Hero became a surprise hit, earning critical acclaim and winning many awards from major video game publications, and was considered one of the most influential games of the first decade of the 21st century.

GSdx (hardware) is faster than linux but still too slow to enjoy; software mode is faster, playable faster, contrary to linux. I've tried the same settings i used in linux but i get heavy dips in fps (from ~50-55 to -35fps) when the scene is too loaded (Ex: camera game showing the public). Any variation of speed with it noticeable, if you can't maintain ~50+ fps don't bother, believe me.	Joder666

Known Issues

Game freezes on video

• Status: Fixed
• Type: Major
• Description: Game boots but will freeze on intro video.
• Workaround: Update to the latest nightly version of PCSX2.

Score counter is glitched

• Status: Active
• Type: Minor
• Description: A part of score counter goes missing after getting x2 combo.
• Workaround: NTSC widescreen patch mostly fixes this issue (a small part of digits is still not visible). Currently no workaround for 4:3 or PAL.
