When switching to first person view to attack ghosts, the rendering turns black with only text & light effects displaying. Switching back normal rendering seems impossible even with software render or openGL hack/skipdraw... I've only managed to fix the bug for a while by loading a savestate done in the chapter opening screen (static image), so maybe it's initial boot or video related, I don't know... it's strange... | |

Known Issues
Black screen in first person view
- Status: Fixed
- Type: Serious
- Affected Game Versions: All
- Description: In Direct3D 11, the first person view is completely black.
- Workaround: Fixed in recent builds 1.7. For older versions: Use OpenGL rendering. Vulkan may also work.
Black shadows appear after the appearance of the ghost.
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Affected Game Versions: All
- Description: In hardware mode, after the appearance of the ghost, black shadows appear and the game starts to slow down. Regression in builds emulator 1.7.0.
- Workaround: Use emulator version 1.6.0 or use Software mode. In the Software mode method, don't switch back to Hardware during gameplay or else the black shadows appear on the next time the game loads.
Broken graphics, health UI and in-game character after FMV
- Status: Active
- Type: Serious
- Affected Game Versions: All
- Description: After watching FMV in hardware mode, the game breaks graphics, health interface and the main character. It happens in every stages. Regression in later nightly builds of the emulator.
- Workaround:
- Use Software mode, watch FMV completely in software mode and after watching FMV, you can switch to hardware mode in game.
- Or use stable version 1.6.0 or build 1.7.0.
