Game description: A viral outbreak has shut down one of the US government's most secret and secure military facilities and all scientific and military personnel are locked inside. A small Special Forces unit, led by specialist Ethan Cole, is sent to investigate. As Cole, you'll delve into five expansive levels within the confines of Area 51, discovering a deadly mutagenic side effect of the virus as well as an ancient alien colony buried beneath the facility. With an array of human and alien weapons, you must explore conspiracies in order to solve the enigma of Area 51.
In July 1947, an alien spacecraft crashed near Roswell, New Mexico in the United States. The craft was recovered by the U.S. Air Force and taken to Area 51 in Nevada, where the lone survivor of the crash; a powerful Grey named Edgar (Warner) was held captive by the U.S. military. Eventually, the Greys opened a dialogue with the Illuminati led by the ominous Mr. White (Proctor), and struck a deal with them; the Illuminati would give the Greys a research base 3 miles below the surface of Area 51, the use of the base as a landing site, and give them human test subjects, where they (along with human scientists) would research a mutagenic virus to use in a war on their homeworld, and in return the Greys would give the Illuminati exclusive access to Grey technology.

Known Issues

When Taking Damage, Entire Screen Fills With Garbage Textures

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: When being damaged, what is supposed to be the screen turning red is instead filled with garbage textures, making it extremely hard to see.
  • Workaround: Use software mode.

Distant Black Line

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: In the distance, a black line is permanently on the ground that produces weird shadows behind it.
  • Workaround: Head to Config > Video > Enable HW Hacks. Then, in the HW Hacks menu, set skipdraw range to 1, 2. Or alternatively, use software mode.

Black Boxes on Floor

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Some floor textures are broken and are seen as black boxes.
  • Workaround: Head to Config > Video > Enable HW Hacks. Then, in the HW Hacks menu, turn on disable depth emulation. To reduce the chance of the now restored floor texture from flickering black, set half pixel offset to Special (Texture - aggressive). Or alternatively, use software mode.
