Game description: This sequel to Star Wars Battlefront improves upon its predecessor with a variety of gameplay enhancements, such as upgraded AI, more than 16 new battlegrounds, and greater story emphasis. In addition to the rebel, clone, and droid warriors from the original game, you can play as a Jedi, complete with lightsaber attacks and force powers. Take part in land and space battles from the Star Wars movie series, and pilot a variety of new aircraft, including X-Wings, TIE fighters, and Jedi Starfighters. Star Wars Battlefront also includes online multiplayer modes for battling other gamers.
Unlike its predecessor, Battlefront II features a more narrative-based campaign, retelling portions of the Star Wars story from the point of view of a veteran Imperial stormtrooper, reminiscing about his tour of duty in service of both the Galactic Republic and as part of the Galactic Empire. Gameplay additions over Battlefront include the use of Jedi, additional game modes such as hero assault, and objective-based space battles.

Hardware mode makes PCSX2 crash immediately. Enabled "VU Add Hack" and "EE Timing hack". Without these hacks enabled the game would crash PCSX2. Bios v 2.0 was used. Zrooney
NTSC-U Windows 8.1 64 bit

  • AMD Radeon HD 7870
1.2.1 r5875 GSdx (Software) 0.1.16 SPU2-X r5830 2.0.0 Runs at stable framerates at native resolution, but gameplay is slightly slow and audio sometimes slurs; some speedhacks may be necessary depending on your system. I ran it with AA1 and 3 extra rendering threads. Running in Hardware mode may crash your game and will remove the sky and cause graphical artifacts in the upper left. newzilla7
