Game description: Sky Gunner follows the story of three ace pilots--Ciel, Copain, and Femme--who are hired to protect the Eternal Engine, which is capable of perpetual motion. Little do they know that the criminal genius Ventre plans to use the town's celebration aboard the luxury airship Merveilleux as an opportunity to steal the Eternal Engine for his own evil ends. Now, as one of the three Sky Gunners, you must use specialized flying machines, advanced maneuvers, and special weapons to defeat the evil forces of Ventre.
An arcade flying game with 3 selectable pilots and planes. Game is devided into levels. Inside a level you can free roam and complete the given objectives. Some missions can have multiple outcomes, which not necessary result in a failure. The game's setting and art style has elements of steampunk.

Be aware that MTVU hack causes the game to freeze at loading the next mission and when saving the game to the memory card!, The game runs mostly smooth 50-60 FPS. In larger open world areas and during heavy fighting it can slow to 40 or so. Surprisingly heavy on system resources. | Yuri |

1.7.2184 | OpenGL | built-in | BIOS: USA v02.30. Goes ingame and runs stable at full speed with 5x res + my settings. I recommend running 5x res for 1080p displays as it eliminates almost all aliasing/jaggies. I also strongly recommend setting Interlacing to "Bob tff", leaving it at "Automatic" seems to set it to "Blend bff" which makes everything more blurry. The widescreen patch works but still stretches your HUD. I played through the first couple of missions and didn't run into any issues. | TomBoss |
