Trivia

  • Original names: るろうに剣心-明治剣客浪漫譚- 炎上!京都輪廻 (SLPS-25685) & (SLPS-73253)
  • The game is a third-person action title based entirely on the Kyoto Arc of the original *Rurouni Kenshin* manga and anime.
  • Players can control Himura Kenshin, Sagara Sanosuke, and Saitō Hajime. Shinomori Aoshi is also playable after being unlocked, though his movelist is more limited.
  • A North American release was planned by Bandai Namco in 2007, with Dimps as the developer, but it was ultimately cancelled due to scheduling issues and projected low sales.
  • The gameplay includes dynamic sword-fighting mechanics and cinematic cutscenes, staying faithful to the anime's dramatic pacing.
