Game description: All your favorite Namco classics are now in one package. Namco Museum 1 includes Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig Dug, and Pole Position. But the fun doesn't stop there, since Namco has added all new arrangement modes plus other hidden games. Whether it's eating ghosts, shooting aliens, digging a hole, or racing toward the finish line, the addictive gameplay of Namco Museum has proven it can stand the test of time.

Game runs well at 6X native resolution. Has some slight screen bobbing but that is the only problem. Bios v 2.0 was used. Zrooney

Playable at full speed. Automatic Interlacing picks a bad mode that has jitter. Use one of the Blend modes (does not matter which) to avoid jitter. Use Preload Frame Data to fix black screen at the memory card load prompt.

Known Issues

Entire screen shakes

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: The Automatic interlacing setting picks an incorrect interlacing mode and causes screen jitter.
  • Workaround: Manually select one of the Blend modes.

Black screen at memory card prompt

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: The prompt to load from a memory card is mostly a black screen.
  • Workaround: Go to Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings, turn on "Enable HW Hacks", go to "Advanced Settings and Hacks", and enable Preload Frame Data. Or, use a Software renderer.
