Game description: In TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, humanity is on the brink of destruction by the evil TimeSplitters. With the help of some familiar faces, Cortez--the tough hero from previous installments--must chase a mystery foe across different time periods to trace the origins of the TimeSplitters. As Cortez, you'll have access to weapons, gadgets, characters, and environments that are unique to each time period. You can also correct the mistakes made in the past or team up with past and future versions of yourself in battles.
The game begins in 2401 when the space marine, Sergeant Cortez, is leaving the space station that he destroyed at the end of TimeSplitters 2. His ship crash lands on the future Earth and two fellow marines greet him. Sergeant Cortez follows his squad of marines through the valley and battles unknown masked figures and TimeSplitters. Cortez is then tasked with following the signatures in the past by time travel thought to be caused by the TimeSplitters. He then goes on a mission to go back in time to find a way to stop the TimeSplitters race from being created.

Major graphical glitches still present. A static appears on screen when in hardware mode but is gone when in software mode. However there is a rectangle of artifacts that is constantly in the center of the screen in both hardware and software. Bios v 2.0 was used. Zrooney

Game runs great stable 60. No evident bugs in story mod, but i didnt finished the game so. Skipdraw to 1 is needed to get rid of the fog which isnt present in SW. Only needed in D3D11, but OpenGl is producing instead of fog a line where the fog starts if u use D3D11. So in my opinion is better to use D3D11 cause u can get rid of that fog with skipdraw. Everx7

Known Issues

Graphical glitches

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: A glitch in half of the screen makes some glitches and screen artifacts that can derivate into half white screen. When you look in an object, such as the Goliath Robot in the Machine Wars level, everything gets stretched up, making impossible to see game objects.
  • Rebooting the pcsx2 and running with no changes in settings gets rid of the glitch, but then the graphical glitches pop up later on. Also, US version works fine (despite this) in arcade mode, but as soon as you enter story mode the fmvs run slow and gameplay overall does not seem to work at all.
  • Workaround: Enable HW Hacks in Config>Video>PluginSettings and check Align Sprite in the configure menu. (Works for multiplayer and singleplayer)

Game will not work directly from CD

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: Future perfect will not load directly from disc but only by using an iso driver.
  • Workaround: Use ISO image
